Welcome to my queendom of tales and poems. I hope you stay a while.
I created this space to offer parents and their children educational stories, poems, and follow-up activities to enjoy together. Each piece reflects both my creativity and my belief that reading and shared time can nurture imagination and connection.
All tales and poems are freely available and can be accessed from anywhere in the world. Fellow teachers are warmly welcome to use these stories and activities in their classrooms, with credit to the authoress. The themes are varied — ranging from Latin and manners to social exclusion — guided by my conviction that children's curiosity should be inspired and fostered in engaging, meaningful ways.
This website is intentionally simple: free from advertisements, cookies, pop-ups, and intrusive messages, so that visitors can enjoy a calm, safe, and focussed reading experience. If possible, I encourage parents to print the texts and activities, so that children can step away from the screen and enjoy the simple pleasure of reading on paper.
I am particularly proud of "Little Io and the Gem Trail" (found at the very bottom of the page), which offers a special touch of customisation: simply enter your child(ren)'s names, et voilà ! — they become the heroes and heroines of the tale, creating a magical and unique experience.
